On My End
Matt Alberts weekly@webcom.com
I'm happy to say that we are making a large dent into the
submissions folder with this issue. If you have submitted your
site, you should see it some time next week, assuming that I do
another Wednesday issue. I am happy that I have received such a
large amount of feedback and I hope to continue filling your
mail boxes in the future.
Enjoy this Friday issue of the Weekly Bookmark!

political and economic news related to the Russian
Federation from a variety of sources, including Interfax
News Agency and Federal News Service, with added research

Government officials mentioned in individual stories are
hot-linked to Maximovs Companion to Who Governs the

reliable service gives users the ability to contact the
key officials behind the headlines. Maximovs Companion
provides contact data across all the political structures
of the Russian Federation, from the Presidents
Administration through the Federal Government and
Parliament, to all 89 regional Administrations. The
names, titles and addresses of 6,500+ Federation
officials are listed, together with nearly 10,000
telephone, fax, telex and E-mail numbers, all
systematically organised and indexed in both English and
Russian. MAXIMOV-Online also hosts several moderated
forums on topical Russian issues, a continuously updated
directory of hundreds of reviewed and rated Internet
resources related to the former Soviet Union, and a

The Unofficial Kobe Bryant Home Page
Kobe Bryant, for those who already do not know, is one of
the first athletes of all time to go directly from
playing high school basketball to the NBA. The Unofficial
Kobe Bryant Home Page documents Kobe Bryant from a
personal aspect. I can successfuly perform this by using
pictures, sounds, and links as mediums to bring
internet-users a little closer to stardome.
Nevertheless, the Unofficial Kobe Bryant Home Page
surpasses all others because it provides a much more
focused approach. This is essentially because it is
continually maintained by a Lower Merion Ace, just like
Kobe, and because he is a neighbor of Kobe. Only I can
get "the inside stuff" and the "scoop" on both Kobe's
basketball and personal life.
